Together with the AEB and SEG boards, the NEAB is part of the unitary grouping AQA ( Assessment and Qualifications Alliance ).
For the summer examination session of 1998, the AQA had 55% of the total individual exam entries by subject for UK candidates who sat A level and GCSE exams.
